The Eisenhower Hotel at Culzean Castle

Named after its former resident, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, The Eisenhower at Culzean Castle is a small, country house hotel, located on the upper floors of Culzean Castle, enjoying superb panoramic views along the coast and across the sea to the mountains of Arran. Guests access the accommodation using an original 1920's elevator that transports them from the ground floor of the Castle to an exclusive 'hideaway' that was the holiday home of Eisenhower and his family from 1945 to 1969.

Comprising six bedrooms, the grand circular Drawing Room and elegant private Dining Room, The Eisenhower Hotel at Culzean Castle is one of the most exclusive places to stay in Scotland.

Visitors can choose to stay in one bedroom (or suite) and enjoy the ‘country house’ ambience with other guests who are staying. Alternatively, why not take the Eisenhower in its entirety for a golf group when visiting to play the famous links courses along the Ayrshire coast.

Situated only 5 minutes from Turnberry and less than half an hour to Troon, live like a president on your visit to Culzean Castle.
