Glenapp Castle Hotel is a stunning example of the 'Scottish Baronial' style of architecture, set in magnificent private gardens and grounds high on a hill looking out across the Irish Sea to Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Mull of Kintyre. The surrounding Ayrshire and Galloway countryside is ruggedly beautiful with many places of interest for guests to visit. Guests who enjoy golf can play the famous Championship courses of Trump Turnberry, Prestwick, Royal Troon and Western Gailes, or the many excellent local courses within an hour of the castle. Alternative activities and tours can be organised for the non-golfers in the party.

Glenapp Castle currently has 17 luxury bedrooms including suites and master rooms. A new three bedroom Castle Apartment on the third floor will be launched in August 2017 taking the total number of bedrooms to 20. The Castle Apartment will include a master bedroom with spectacular sea views, two additional bedrooms, private dining room/lounge, private kitchen, office and cinema room.

The castle is open all year for individual and group reservations and is also available to hire on an Exclusive Use basis.

New for 2017 - The Glenapp boat

Take the Glenapp Castle boat to the Isle of Arran and choose from a mix of links and parkland settings including the beautiful Brodick and Shiskine golf courses. Or for the more adventurous take the Glenapp boat a little further to the tip of the Mull of Kintyre to play on the Machrihanish course.
