Gailes Links

Gailes Links belongs to Glasgow Golf Club, the 9th oldest golf club in the world, and although steeped in history we are very much a modern Club committed to the future, working in partnership with the R&A and welcoming visitors and Operators from all over the world.

Gailes Links is an R&A preferred championship links course located near The Open venues of Turnberry and Royal Troon in Ayrshire. Gailes Links, which was Scotland's only final Open qualifying course between 2014 and 2017, has hosted several championship tournaments and was designed by former Open winner Willie Park Jnr.

Gailes Links was opened in 1892 by Glasgow Golf Club, the 9th oldest golf club in the world. Its west coast setting and fabulous condition makes it ideal for summer and winter golf in Scotland. It is simply traditional links golf at its best.
