The Carlton Hotel is ideally situated in Prestwick, Ayrshire. Within 5 minutes of Prestwick Airport and 45 minutes of Glasgow International Airport, this makes the hotel an ideal base or stop over for every travel opportunity, business or leisure.

The hotel is within a short driving distance of many Championship golf courses. The Birthplace of Open Golf, the area boasts a unique collection of classic links golf courses, including three Open Championship Courses - Prestwick, Royal Troon and Turnberry. In addition to these links courses, the area has some of the finest private and public courses Scotland has to offer.

The Carlton combines a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with a streamlined, contemporary interior, and boasts landscaped gardens, a terrace and alfresco dining areas. Food is served all day from 9am and you can choose from our extremely popular Restaurant and Carvery or join us in our bar for drinks.

Ideal for weddings, events and corporate meetings, we have something for every occasion, from the Barony Suite which holds up to 220 guests or the Mharena Suite perfect for smaller functions, meetings or private dining of 50 people or less. We have a Civil Marriage licence and have a dedicated events team to take care of everything to make sure your event goes smoothly.

Fresh, modern accommodation is provided within the 39 guest bedrooms. All of which provide full en-suite facilities, free wifi, plasma TV’s and hot beverage-making facilities. With easy access throughout for disables guests and free car parking we aim to make your stay a comfortable one.

Owners Robert and Vivien Kyle of the RAD Hotel Group are well known for their attention to detail from the standard of service they are their staff provide, to the quality of interiors throughout their establishments.
