AD Rattray Whisky Experience and Shop

A. D. Rattray are an independent whisky company who have been selecting and bottling Scotch whiskies for over 150 years. They create limited-edition single cask and small batch single malts. They focus on highlighting the distinctive flavours and characteristics found in individual casks of whisky. Browse and buy their award-winning whiskies online or by visiting their Whisky Shop in Kirkoswald, South Ayrshire.

Explore Scotch whisky and its fascinating heritage at our unique Whisky Experience & Shop, located within the beautifully renovated old village school in Kirkoswald.

Only 20 minutes South of Ayr and 5 minutes from Turnberry, we are surrounded by some of the UKs best golf courses, making a visit to us the perfect addition to your golf trip in Ayshire.

We’ll guide you through the next steps on your whisky journey, whether you’re a whisky lover or enjoying your first dram. You can nose and taste exquisite whiskies and gins in our Tasting Room, personalise your own bottle in our Cask Room and explore the world’s finest single malts in our shop.

You’re welcome to drop in and there’s no charge for the A. D. Rattray Experience. There are no formal tours and our friendly team are always on hand to help you discover more about our favourite subject, whisky. For Whisky and Gin Tastings, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We're ready to welcome you and share our knowledge and passion for whisky.
