Join the M8 motorway eastbound towards Glasgow city centre and Edinburgh
Exit the M8 at junction 24
Follow signs for the M77/A77 towards Prestwick Airport and Kilmarnock
Edinburgh Airport on the east of the country is Scotland's largest and busiest airport but remains less than ninety minutes drive making it well within reach for a short break or golf trip to Ayrshire.
